Primary: Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dublin (EU). On request: US (East) and Singapore. Cloudflare’s global network — 300+ points of presence worldwide. Client data stays in the chosen region. 02 What about GDPR and EU data? EU-only by default. A data processing agreement (DPA) is part of the contract; sub-processors are documented (Cloudflare, Hetzner). For transfers outside the EU — standard contractual clauses. ISO 27001 certification is on the 2026 roadmap. 03 How do you back up? Database and file backups every 6 hours. Stored in a second region, separate from the main one. A weekly test restore — automated, with a written report. We keep daily copies for 30 days and monthly ones for 12 months. 04 How does zero-downtime migration work? A test copy on our servers, data sync, link checks. We switch your domain in a low-traffic window (usually Saturday night). The old site stays with us for 30 days in case we need to roll back. 05 What does traffic overage cost? Base plan: up to 1 TB of traffic a month and up to 100K active users. Overage — €0.05/GB. Auto-scaling up to 10× — with no overage charge for the peak week. It’s all visible on a real-time panel. 06 What happens during downtime? A real-time status page. The on-call engineer is alerted within minutes. A public incident report within 5 business days.
