What we hear most.
01 Which stack should we pick — WordPress or Laravel?
On the call we figure it out: launch speed, business-logic complexity, support budget. WordPress — when you need a fast content site editable without a developer. Laravel — when you have your own business logic, integrations, user roles. The first option often saves two months and three designer salaries. Sometimes it doesn't.
02 How do you calculate the budget?
Fixed price per phase or hourly — your call. We give the estimate after a short first call: we break the work into person-hours, add a risk buffer, and split it into checkpoints with payment on delivery. No “surprises at the end” and no invoices landing a month after release.
03 How long from brief to release?
Landing — 2–3 weeks. Corporate site with a CMS — 4–8 weeks. Web service with its own logic — from two months. We start a week after signing; the first working prototype lands in week two, so you see motion, not reports.
04 What happens after the release?
We hand over the keys, documentation, access credentials, and a short video walkthrough for the editor. Then — Care: uptime monitoring, backups, updates, small fixes at hourly rate. Or we let you sail solo — no locks, no contractor lock-in.
05 Can you migrate an existing site without downtime?
Yes. We deploy a test copy, migrate content and database, and check links and redirects from old addresses. We switch the domain in a low-traffic window — users will notice, at most, a faster site. We keep a backup of the old version for 30 days — somewhere to roll back from without panic.
06 How do you handle security and GDPR?
HTTPS by default, an edge firewall (WAF), backups every 6 hours, CMS and dependency updates on a weekly cycle. A cookie banner, a data processing agreement (DPA), and a privacy policy — part of the base release, not an “extra option”. Access logs kept for 90 days; form data is never stored in plain text.
